Why, hello, there. My name is Stephanie, but you can call me Ava. I am an eighteen year old American girl with a wicked case of Anglophilia who is in love with two men across the Atlantic by the names of David Tennant and Richard Armitage. I now give you leave to pity me.

And here's what I like.

Doctor Who | Pride and Prejudice | Phantom of the Opera | Avatar: The Last Airbender | Robin Hood (BBC) | Pokemon Black | Homestuck | history | fan fiction | general artsy stuff.

I kind of have a crazy idea.

It would be fantastically overwhelming and probably take months and months to accomplish, but if I actually did it, I would be so very proud of myself.

I’m thinking about writing a song for every episode of New Who. (Except for the ones I haven’t seen, which would be The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit. I have my reasons.)

If I did take up this challenge, which, at this point, seems extremely unlikely because I have a horrible reputation for never finishing things I start, I would have to overcome one fundamental issue.

I would have to know how to put together a flipping song.

Now, I’ve made music before. Plenty, even. But those pieces were just that— pieces. More like doodles than actual artwork. I’ve only ever finished one full-length song with an intro, chorus, bridge, etc. and with that, I haven’t set lyrics to it. That’s another one of my problems.

I can make the music or I can write the lyrics. More often than not, I cannot combine the two.

So I’m still thinking this over. If I do do this, I may or may not proceed in a linear fashion. I’ve made a chart of all the episodes to do, just in case.

So. Should I?

(also, this post wound up being a lot longer than I thought it would be.)

I dunno if I uploaded this yet or what, but this was going to be the music for a flash I was doing for a very, very dead webcomic I foolishly decided to start on an impulse.

Scene: Leaving a swanky party. Traveling through the empty woods at night. See a strange yellow glow up ahead. Follow the glow, find a ~mYsTeRiOuS~ egg at the base of a tree.

Does anyone know how to do music.

Does anyone know how to do Spanish music.

I’m trying to. Make my own Summoner theme and I want it to have some Spanish flair, but I really have no idea what I’m doing, here.

Turntech.

I originally made it for the HSO bonus round prompt that went something like “create a work one of the characters would do” and so this happened. I’ve never posted it because there was a bit in the middle that was horribly off-beat and I just never fixed it, but I think it’s okay now.

So this is song 1 for the HS music contest. I think. If I don’t finish another one I like better.
